Job Description

The Mid Market Account Executive is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals by generating new business within 100-1000 user organisation territory.  

This role is ideal for professional sales candidates who are skilled problem solvers, excellent communicators, are achievement-oriented and have the desire to work with innovative SaaS / Cloud centric technologies.

This is a key sales role within a regional team responsible for identification of mid-market 100-1000 user prospects and adopting consultative solution selling strategies to convert customers to use Natterbox telephony and contact centre solutions 100% integrated into SalesForce.com.

The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, works well in a diverse team, enjoys a dynamic and changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales bookings targets
  • Identify prospective clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Engage with high level executives/managers/decision makers within prospect accounts to present business solutions
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with customers in accordance with the businesses commercial strategy to deliver maximum price yield
  • Support the wider sales community within the defined territory
  • Plan and implement strategy for achieving business development and growth targets
  • Use internal resources and be highly proficient in demonstrating the products
  • Engage in all campaign and promotional activity to increase the volume of sales in the portfolio at the targeted profitable level
  • Customer focussed and engage the rest of the business to resolve customer queries and issues
  • Ensure market intelligence is gathered and fed through the wider organisation
  • Develop a wide internal network of contacts across departments and functions in order to assist with the service delivery and growth of the customer base
  • Develop and build contacts at all levels within the prospect/customer base

Education and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Completed University or equivalent education)
  • Scientific subjects an advantage

Experience

Essential:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years selling a SaaS based solution
  • A knowledge and understanding of CRM systems preferably Salesforce.com
  • A superb track record of consistently hitting and exceeding targets
  • Proven experience of sales and negotiation in a commercial B2B environment

 

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience within the Salesforce.com CRM environment
  • Telecommunication / IT sales / Software as a Service / Cloud solutions
