Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals by generating new business within a territory.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented and wish to work with innovative SaaS / Cloud centric technology. 

This is a key sales role within a regional team responsible for identification of ideal prospects and progression of leads from the business to convert these into customers for a Salesforce based telephony platform which brings value to Customer Experience, Agent productivity and business insights.

The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, works well in a diverse team, enjoys a dynamic and changing environment and is able to identify a sector and company that can heavily influence their career.

  • Identify prospective clients, fast lead follow up and development of new business opportunities
  • Engage with high level executives/managers/decision makers within prospect accounts to understand business need, qualify value and present business solutions
  • Closing business to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Engage in customer commercial and contract discussions in a professional and ethical manner in line with company policy
  • Support the wider sales community in the business in alignment to company values
  • Plan and implement strategy for achieving business development and growth targets
  • Use internal resources appropriately and be highly proficient in demonstrating the products
  • Engage in all campaign and promotional activity to increase the volume of sales in the portfolio at the targeted profitable level
  • Customer focused and engage the rest of the business to resolve customer queries and issues
  • Ensure market intelligence is gathered and fed through the wider organisation
  • Develop a wide internal network of contacts across departments and functions in order to assist with the service delivery and growth of the customer base
  • Develop and build contacts at all levels within the prospect/customer base

Education and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (Completed University or equivalent education)
  • Scientific subjects an advantage



  • A minimum of 1-2 years selling a SaaS based solution
  • A knowledge and understanding of CRM systems
  • A superb track record of consistently hitting and exceeding targets
  • Proven experience of sales and negotiation in a commercial B2B environment


  • Experience within the CRM environment
  • Telecommunication / IT sales / Software as a Service / Cloud solutions



  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate robust and habitual selling skills
  • Demonstrable ability to close business opportunities
  • Demonstrable ability to uncover and qualify business opportunities
  • Commercial skills and general business acumen including understanding margins and factors which affect the achievement of targets


  • Relevant Experience of SaaS, Telecoms and Cloud Technologies

  • Prior Experience demonstrating software products
  • Business analysis skills
