The position requires a motivated and efficient administrator in a customer facing role capable of prioritising and managing multiple complex tasks efficiently and following sometimes complex processes.

Reports To

Head of Technical Support and Provisioning

Location Based

Croydon, South London

Responsibilities

  • Organising and administering all provisioning requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Work closely with Sales and Professional services to ensure all new customer contracts are implemented according to company process and all in-life customer orders are provisioned accurately
  • Responding to customers in a timely basis, keeping them informed of status of their order
  • Managing the porting process and submitting port documentation to incumbent service providers
  • Ordering hardware via third party suppliers and managing stock and distribution.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • At least 1 year's experience in an IT based administrative post
  • Experience dealing and working with customers in a technical role

Desirable Experience

  • Understanding of cloud services, telecoms and software development
  • Some background experience of customer service

  • Excellent customer skills, telephone manner and focus
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • IT skills and experience, MS Word, Excel and document management
  • Ability to work under pressure and to a deadline
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and other parts of the business

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud based CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce, Workbooks or Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of standard PSTN, Cloud and Mobile telephony networks

  • Educated to minimum A level (or equivalent) standard.
  • Self starter able to make progress with minimal supervision
  • Possess good interpersonal, written, oral and analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment with good communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Able to prioritise and work within tight timescales in order to meet targets
  • Can accept and act upon constructive criticism
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks of varying priorities
  • An understanding and aptitude for technology and working with IT systems

Desirable attributes

  • A degree or equivalent further education qualification
  • Sense of urgency along with a sense of ‘ticket ownership’ to see all requests through to successful resolution
  • Ability to adjust and streamline processes

Essential circumstances

  • Due to the nature of the company’s products and services, the jobholder must on occasion, be willing and available to work extra hours if the needs of the company require it
  • There may be in addition requirements to occasionally work away from the Natterbox office and be based at customer premises
  • Present an acceptable appearance at all times
  • Live within commuting distance of Croydon, South London
  • UK passport or right to work in the UK essential for this role

Salary Details

  • £14,000 - £18,000 dependant on experience
