Working in the Professional Services team, implementation engineers are responsible for the successful deployment and project management of Natterbox Cloud Computing Telecoms technologies, technical account management and the provision of professional services to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute a project plan for Natterbox deployments
  • Provide project and technical management for customers throughout the deployment of the service to ensure the project achieves deployment timescales and quality objectives.
  •  Provide technical support and relationship management for customers during provisioning phase
  • Work closely with support, provisioning and development to manage issues and remove roadblocks to the project
  • Attend site (Australia and potentially Asian countries) to provide onsite assistance during the rollout
  • Meet revenue targets and other organisational goals.

Education and Qualifications

Essential:

  • “Degree” level intellect

Desirable:

  • CCNA qualification or better
  • Formal Project Management qualification

Experience

Essential:

  • 2 years’ demonstrable experience in deployment of VOIP systems
  • Formal project management experience or qualification
  • Experience of administering hosted VOIP systems, for example FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, etc
  • Demonstrable experience in a VOIP Service Provider/ Telco environment
  • Grounding in security including VPNs and firewalls

Desirable:

  • Demonstrable networking experience within the context of a service environment
  • Router, firewall and QoS and setup
  • Telecoms and internet connectivity
  • Number porting and working with telecoms providers

Skills

Essential:

  • Customer facing with excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly devise and present robust technical solutions to customer requests.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions and/or issues to non-technical people
  • Project and task management
  • Operational systems knowledge of VOIP
  • Detailed understanding of DNS, TCP/ IP & NAT in a WAN environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Good IT skills and excellent command of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Desirable:

  • VOIP technologies including: FreeSWITCH & openSIPS
  • Knowledge of SIP & RTP and ability to trace and report on such traffic
  • TLS/SSL understanding especially in context of SIP/ RTP

  • Full driving license
  • Due to the nature of the Company’s products and services, the jobholder must be willing and available to travel and work extra hours as required by the role
